What You’ll Get to Do The packing Associate is focused on Ensuring proper and safe packing of materials and reports to the Packing manager. This role is perfect for an individual who is detail oriented . A vital member of the Packing Department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader. Job responsibilities include: Secure items needed for packing (Cardboard, tape, paper, foam, etc.), if needed. Check the reference sheet on the packing station desk to see what size corrugated fanfold packing (cardboard) needs to be used, how many extrusions are included in a standard pack, and identify the exposed surfaces need to be protected. Verify correct length of metal by measuring with tape measure. Verify the box quantity and the correct fan fold size before packing, unless otherwise specified by customer. Create the packing label using EPICS.
