In this role, you’ll play a major role in creating memorable moments for business travelers and families on vacation. As an essential team member at Drury Hotels, you will work on a team with other friendly customer focused team members completing daily duties such as vacuuming, changing linens and making our bathrooms shine. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean and positive environment for guests and team members, performing various hotel cleaning services to keep rooms clean according to established standards, visually inspecting rooms to identify maintenance needs, assisting guests with linens, towels, amenities, or information upon request, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences by providing friendly and courteous service with a Service +1 attitude. Additional duties may include helping in laundry and cleaning public spaces as needed. The position requires the ability to work independently, follow verbal and written instructions, and maintain a positive and solution-oriented attitude. Physical requirements include the ability to walk and stand throughout the shift, push, vacuum, reach, stretch, bend, and intermittently lift 25-35 pounds. The role reports to the Executive Housekeeper/Assistant General Manager and requires maintaining positive and cooperative working relationships with all hotel departments. No previous cleaning experience is required, but knowledge, skill, and mental ability equivalent to completion of 2 years of high school is necessary.
