Position Summary

We are seeking a Manager/Senior Manager to join our Business Tax Services practice.

Responsibilities

1. Manage client portfolios of various sizes; serve as the first point of contact for clients.
2. Oversee teams of tax professionals and assistants on client projects.
3. Understand and analyze U.S. GAAP rules affecting clients.
4. Supervise engagement risks, financial performance, billing, collections, and project budgets.
5. Provide corporate tax, consulting, and compliance services to insurance clients, from Fortune 100 to startups.
6. Assess tax impacts, develop supporting tax arguments, and advise clients.

Additional Responsibilities for Senior Manager

1. Manage engagement risks and financials including billing and project budgets.
2. Collaborate with professionals to identify new market opportunities and grow the practice.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of recent tax experience in accounting, corporate, or law firms.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Licensed CPA, JD/LLM, or EA; candidates without these have one year post-hire to obtain credentials.
• Applied knowledge of ASC 740.
• Excellent communication skills for articulating complex information.
• Experience with corporate taxation and consolidations.

Additional Qualifications for Senior Manager

• Minimum eight years of recent tax experience.
• Experience mentoring staff.
